The Seahorse XFe24 measures oxygen consumption and extracellular acidification in live cells or suitable ex vivo preparations. It complements whole animal studies by examining metabolic responses at the cellular level.
- Live cells and suitable tissue preparations
- Oxygen consumption and extracellular acidification

What we measure
- Oxygen consumption rate (OCR)
- Extracellular acidification rate (ECAR)
- Mitochondrial respiration parameters with appropriate assay design
- Responses to substrates and pharmacological interventions
